Anthias Wins 'Supplier Excellence' Lab Award at Lab Innovations

Anthias Consulting Ltd was shortlisted for two awards at this year's Lab Awards which were held at the Lab Innovations exhibition at the Birmingham NEC on the 1st of November. Our micro-business was nominated alongside AstraZeneca and Leybold for ‘Best Company Culture’ due to our flexible working arrangements, care for work-life balance, scenic office location and focus on employee training. Anthias were also shortlisted alongside Asynt, CoolMed and ESSLAB/Element Deeside and won the award for ‘Supplier Excellence’. The award was presented to Dr Diane Turner (Director and Senior Consultant of Anthias) by Maggie Philbin OBE, Tomorrow's World presenter and CEO of TeenTech. The award was sponsored by Johnson's Laboratory Logistics, see photograph of director James Oakes alongside Dr Diane Turner.

The judges were extremely impressed with our forefront position in training and CPD approval with the Royal Society of Chemistry. One judge said 'their fantastic supplier services and commitment to excellence are noteworthy, making them a top supplier choice.' Our experience with providing bespoke Gas Chromatography- Mass Spectrometry training in Iraq on behalf of the United Nations, resulting in a huge increase of productivity in the labs of the Iraqi Forensic Service.

Back at the Lab Awards 2021 Anthias Consulting won awards for ‘Most Impactful Online or Print Training Resource’ and ‘Most Impactful F2F Training’ and this is further recognition for their consistent high standards.

Working hard presenting and networking, then relaxing at the Lab Awards dinner and dance was an excellent experience for Team Anthias, and we are grateful to EasyFairs for hosting, the Royal Society of Chemistry for organising the talks and Johnson's Laboratory Logistics for sponsoring the award!
